Franchise Partnership FAQs

This page answers the most common questions from prospective franchise partners considering an Ivybridge territory. If your question is not covered here, you are welcome to contact us directly or include it within your initial application for further discussion.

Do I need any estate agency experience to become a partner?

Not necessarily. We welcome applicants from property, finance, consultancy, design, leadership and other professional backgrounds. Strong communication skills, integrity and personal accountability are more important than previous industry experience.

How many properties will I be responsible for in my territory?

Our model focuses on quality rather than volume. Partners typically manage a smaller number of significant properties, each presented with premium marketing and director level service.

What support do I receive from Ivybridge HQ?

Ivybridge HQ provides onboarding, compliance, portal management, sales progression, marketing, creative production and systems support. You focus on valuations, client relationships, presentation and negotiation.

How are franchise territories defined and protected?

Territories are shaped around areas with strong concentrations of premium homes. They are designed to support long term success, not simply to create the largest possible region. See our Territories page for current opportunities.

What income can I expect as a franchise partner?

Earnings depend on performance in your territory. After marketing and direct costs are deducted, eighty per cent of remaining profit is paid to you and twenty per cent is retained by Ivybridge HQ. See the Earnings and Investment page for more detail.

Do I need to invest significant funds upfront?

No. There is no large franchise licence fee. You will need working capital to support yourself until your first instructions complete, but the infrastructure, brand and marketing are provided through the partnership model.

Can I apply as a team or partnership?

Yes. Many partners work as two person teams who already have a high degree of trust and complementary skills. You can indicate this during your application.

Speak With Our Directors

You don't need to be ready to sell to speak with us. We have quiet, confidential conversations with homeowners across Norfolk and Suffolk every week. About timing, about value, about what the market looks like right now. No obligation. No pressure. Just an honest conversation.

Some owners choose to commission a Strategic Property Report before bringing their home to the market, allowing pricing, positioning and preparation to be considered privately.
